Education

Our Atfalati-Kalapuya Mobile Museum presentation gives audiences an in-depth look into the lives of the Native Americans who lived here in the Tualatin Valley. Viewers enjoy a hands-on learning experience through handling authentic artifacts and replicated items. The Atfalati-Kalapuya is one of seven Mobile Museum presentations we offer for the community and classroom.

The Washington County Historical Society and Museum provides several educational opportunities for the community. Our education programs are created to interpret and pass on the history of Washington County.  Group tours, school and community presentations, Crossroads Lecture series, exhibits and special events are activities we use to pass on the knowledge of our local past.

For more information about how to take advantage of these great programs please call us at the museum at (503) 645-5353 or email us.
